Government Support SME

Government Support SME is a program that has been part of the SME Congress from the very beginning. It is addressed to local government units at the provincial, poviat and local levels. The aim of the program is to select and promote local governments, which provide enterprises in the SME sector with favorable conditions for running a business and in a particular way support the development of this sector.

In the years 2011-2018, eight editions of the program took place. Last year, a record number of applications was received. Among the previous Program Winners there were, among others: Wrocław, Gliwice, Bydgoszcz, Olesno, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Koszalin, Legnica, Czechowice-Dziedzice and many others.

As the previous winners of the program emphasize, finding oneself in the group of its winners is not only strengthening the image in the environment, but also confirming the special care for the development of the SME sector.

As a result of the analysis of applications and questionnaires sent by participants, the Chapter will select the winners who will receive the certificate and the promotional title and logo "Government Support SME". Awarding a certificate in one of the program categories is tantamount to granting the Marshal, the Starost, the President, the Mayor or the Mayor a distinction and the statuette of "Leader supporting SMEs".

Certainly, receiving such a prestigious distinction from the hands of the most important representatives of the business world gives the local government many new opportunities and opens new paths of cooperation with business entities.
